A dark, deep counterpart to the Elven Alarm, rather than the bright, airy flavors of the forest, this tea carries the essence of the darkened, winding caves of the Underdark. Warmed by the molten earthen core, dark and twisting, unpredictable and wily, this tea is not for the wood elves among us. It's for the dark elves.
The "Light in the Deep" is a dark-roasted yerba mate from Brazil, roasted over charcoal, giving it a sublime nutty, chocolatey, earthy flavor that will warm your body like a campfire in the darkened tunnels. It carries subtle undertones of grassy semi-salty algaes, almost like a fire-roasted cave-growth common to the dark elves' diet.
